Little Explorers Preschool Program is for children ages 2.5 to 5 years old, and our hours are 9:00am to 1:00pm. At Little Explorers we spend our days learning and making discoveries through play, art, music, science, nature and much more. Our ability to engage children using positive reinforcement and encouragement provides the opportunity to learn and make new connections. Every day we provide a different enrichment for our students to explore. Our staff at Little Explorers seeks to honor each child as an individual and celebrate their creative and unique learning styles. It is our mission at Little Explorers to give children the tools to become independent, empowered and caring individuals, while fostering a love of learning.

Tuition is paid September through June and is divided into 10 equal payments, with holidays and breaks taken into account.  Payments are due each month and no later than the 1st of the month.  There is no credit for missed days.

2025/26 Monthly Tuition Rates:

2 days per week – $605.00
3 days per week – $845.00
4 days per week – $1,065.00
5 days per week – $1,225.00

A deposit of $400 is due upon enrollment and is applied in full towards your first month’s tuition.  We will confirm your enrollment or waitlist placement within 48 hours.

Our preschool program for the 2025 school year will operate from September 4, 2024 to June 27th, 2025.

We follow Seattle Public School’s closure dates. Breaks & holidays observed: Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, MLK Jr Holiday, Mid-Winter Break, Spring Break, Memorial Day, and Juneteenth.  For further details, checkour Calendar.

Little Explorers will be offering Summer Camp from July 7th to August 22nd, 2025. Our summer days are filled with arts, crafts, adventure, friendship, trips to the library & park, and tons of outdoor fun. Hours of operation are 9:00am to 3:00pm ($90 per day) or 9:00am to 5:00pm ($115 per day). We offer a 10% discount for siblings.

Schools – We will pick up students at McDonald International & Green Lake Elementary School.

Hours - Students will be picked up at McDonald at 2:25 (1:10 on Wed) & at GLES at 3:25 (2:10 on Wed).  We will be open until 6:00pm.  We follow the Seattle Public School calendar for holidays and breaks.

What to bring to After School Enrichment - Please send a snack and water bottle with your student.
